3. How much does it cost to use status/post for my study?
There is currently no fixed licensing fee for status/post. Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. Primary factors considered are the need for custom programming, number of participants, length of study, and choice of publishing to existing status/post app or production of a stand-alone branded app specific for your study. My goal at this point is to get as many projects and as many participants using the platform as possible, not making profit. However, a very important additional goal is to raise funds for continued development, so some preference in some cases will be given to projects where there is a budget. Grants are available for researchers and biomedical students with compelling projects and clear dedication.
4. Is status/post available on Android and Windows devices?
ResearchKit and status/post are only supported on iOS devices, including iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
5. Is there a charge for using REDCap?
REDCap is distributed free of charge to members of the REDCap Consortium. In my experience, the application is also made available for free to researchers in the institution. Your institution may charge small fees for consulting and technical support services. Please contact your REDCap administrator for details.
6. Can I test and evaluate status/post before licensing?

Yes, We are happy to negotiate an institutional license for status/post. Such an arrangement would allow unlimited use by researchers at your institution. Requirements would be that there would be one point-of-contact for technical support, and staff with advanced knowledge of REDCap.
8. Is technical support provided?
Yes, technical support is provided. I only ask that one point-of-contact be identified for your study, and that this person have experience in configuring REDCap.
9. What if I need features not currently supported?
Custom programming will not be required for most projects. If you have a requirement that is not on the list of features, there may be the need for custom programming. I generally ask that projects financially support the development of new features required for their project.
